EXPERT HIRING ADVERTISEMENT The Gauss Institute Foundation – Bitola implements the Urban Dialogue project. For the needs of the project, it is necessary to hire: An expert in the field of urban planning a. Completed architectural or similar faculty related to urban planning. b. Experience in the implementation of projects related to urban planning. c. Experience in cooperation with the civil sector and the participation of citizens in urban planning. The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on July 12 or 13, 2016, and the contract is scheduled to be concluded on July 15. 2016. Responsibilities of the expert: 1. Preparation and moderation of the Final Conference – workshop with debate on the project URBAN DIALOG which is planned for 25.07.2016 in Bitola. 2. Revising and incorporating one’s own expert opinion (from the point of view of an urban planner) in the document Guidelines for policies for greater involvement of citizens in urban planning, which was prepared in a draft version by the GAUS Institute. This document in the volume of about 10 pages in A4 format will be received by e-mail by all candidates who apply for the advertisement, to study it before the scheduled interview. 3. Preparation of a report from the Final Conference incorporating discussions and opinions from the participants. The selected expert will be engaged with a work contract. The expected gross fee is 30,000 denars (net 27,900 denars) for an expected engagement of 5 working days (3 working days for studying and revising the document Guidelines for policies for greater involvement of citizens in urban planning, 1 day for the implementation of the Final Conference and 1 day for writing a report from the final conference).
